Weʼre looking for a WordPress Developer who can think strategically about user journeys, leverage modern tools (including AI, and partner with designers and marketers to raise the bar for B2B web.
What Youʼll Do
- Architect, build, and maintain custom WordPress websites for global B2B/tech/SaaS clients, balancing speed, security, and usability
- Strategize with functional teams (design, marketing, content, PME/CSE) to deliver sites that serve business objectives – lead-gen, event signups, resource downloads, etc.
- Build websites using modern page builders like Elementor, Bricks, etc., and tailor them to the brandʼs design and functionality requirements using plugins and integrations (CRM, analytics, automations) to match complex business needs like full sites and quick landing pages with modern animations and design systems
- Leverage AI-based tools and site builders for accelerated prototyping and client-driven editing where appropriate
- Optimise for performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and mobile/responsive experience
- Own deployment, staging, backups, responsiveness, and site health using best-in-class tools (WP Rocket, BlogVault, etc.)
- Stay current with the evolving WP landscape (Gutenberg, Full Site Editing, security best practices, headless WP, etc.)
- Troubleshoot bugs and provide proactive recommendations for site enhancements and user experience improvements
Must-Have Skills
- 2–4 experience with custom WordPress development – can build/code themes & plugins, not just assemble sitebuilders
- Comfortable translating wireframes or Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and healthy websites
- Fluency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Elementor, Bricks; Gutenberg block development is a bonus
- Familiar with integrating REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party SaaS tools
- Performance-first mindset: proven skills in speed optimization, security, SEO, and accessibility
- Strategic understanding of the role of websites in B2B marketing and lead-gen
- Comfortable implementing AI/automation plugins or workflows to accelerate site delivery and testing
- Hands-on with version control (Git), staging tools, and modern WP host environments
- Analytical and proactive: can audit, report, and improve site metrics
- Open communicator, team collaborator, and always learning the latest WP/tech innovations
Qualifications Required
- Bachelorʼs degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field preferred
- 2–4 years of agency, in-house, or freelance WP development experience (B2B/tech/SaaS a plus)
- Portfolio of modern, high-performing WP sites – demonstrate variety and custom functionality
- Evidence of ongoing professional development (courses, certifications, projects, GitHub, etc.)

- You struggle with fast-paced, multi-project, feedback-driven agency environments
- Collaboration or “non-dev” tasks (like deployment, client training, basic design review) annoy you
